MSIF

Technical members of the Society of Irish Foresters are entitled to use MSIF (Member of the Society of Irish Foresters) which is the designation for Professional Foresters in Ireland. To become an MSIF, members must have an accredited forestry qualification (minimum of Level 7).

MSIF  demonstrates to employers, colleagues and the industry as a whole that the person entitled to use the designation adheres to the highest international professional and ethical standards. The Society is accountable to its members and the public: we aim to encourage the highest standards in education and training; to protect members and the public through regulation of ethics and standards and to provide advice to organisations such as government.
